PRAYON selected De Smet Agro for the Basic Design of its new 10 ktpy SHMP plant in Engis, Belgium
We are very pleased to announce that our client PRAYON, headquartered in Belgium, has selected De Smet Agro to perform the Basic Design for its new 10 ktpy SHMP plant (Sodium HexaMetaPhosphate), used in food applications as an additive for meat, seafood and cheese.
This new plant will be implemented within the existing complex of Prayon in Engis, Belgium to supplement its current SHMP production unit located in France.
This study, kicked-off mid-April 2021, will be completed by end 2021 by our Brussels office, with the objective to have the plant operational by 2023.
This award demonstrates the confidence PRAYON is placing in De Smet Agro for the studies of its priority investments and the synergy with DSEC expertise in agro-industries.
